HTML Codes for
Articles
Bold <b>Sentence</b>. I
like the way it looks without the period in bold, so I
usually put the code in before the period.
Italics <i>Phrase</i>
Underline (Take
care--sometimes web readers think underlines are a
link.) <u>End with </u>
List with bullets Start
with this<ul>
<li>Point</li>
<li>Point</li>
<li>Point</li>
<li>Point</li> End with
</ul>
Numbers <ol>
<li>Number</li>
<li>Number</li>
<li>Number</li>
<li>Number</li> End with
</ol>
To make an indentation,
for instance to set a quote, tabs don't work so you
need to use this code:
<blockquote>Sentence </blockquote>
Just remember to end all
HTML with the slash mark!
Your title should be in
upper and lower case letters with the first letter of
each word being capitalized.
* Don't submit in all
CAPS
* It is ok to not
capitalize common words such as "a" - "the" - "to" -
"for" etc...unless you want to.
* It is not ok to add
HTML tags in your SUBJECT/TITLE line.
Author bio
with HTML code (Your call to action. Must
entice reader to your website, not list your
credentials.)
Some article banks don't
allow HTML. If the submit site does allow HTML and you
don't use it, you link WILL NOT be live. Look at each
site and check an article in the publish or ezine
ready box, not just the article on the presentation
page. In Ezine Articles, click on "Ezine Publisher"
button on the top right. In isnare, click on "Article
Publisher" link.

This is the HTML code for Ezine Articles (allows
THREE links):
Looks like:
For article banks that only allow two links:
Looks like:
Important: If you list your website
http://worryfreecredit.com Always leave a space
after the link (don't put a period right after your
website link) or it will look like www.worryfreecredit.com without
a link!
Always use one normal link for website publishers
who won't bother to copy the codes. The point is to
use your keywords in the linking text so you get
your website connected to your keywords. However,
many websites will only use the one link with your
website address and ignore the linking text.
You should not use linking text and your website
link to the same web page. Ezine Articles prefers
two to three separate links. Actually, you want each
article to only give one call to action. So the best
way would be to have a linking text to a page on the
same website you want the reader to go to. I am
trying to get the page rank up for my press room
website jeanettefisher.com, so I linked to it in
some articles with the real call to action (CTA) to
go get the free goodies.
Here is the code for you to copy and paste:
<a target="_new" href="http://sellfast.info">http://sellfast.info</a>
Put your website in the preferred way. If you have
been using the www, keep doing that. The second part
is where you either put your website link or your
keyword phrase.
